Dear colleagues,
Welcome to our regular KIND network update. We’ll have a firm schedule for the KIND unconference out early next week, so do please save the date (9.30-16.30, Wednesday 11th December) if you haven’t already. Last call too for Q1 2025 training requests.
Hope to see you at something soon

Wins of The Week
In the spirit of #IAmRemarkable, we do a weekly wins of the week thread to celebrate the professional (and personal) achievements of the community. A power-of-presenting special this week:
- Successfully took part in a meeting relating to a project I’m part of, properly spoke up, explained my points and all! Happy with myself
- Managed to confidently present at a Partnership Committee
- Glad to say that a workshop I had to facilitate this week for a difficult working group for a new project went well.
- Received thanks/recognition from the Big Boss in a full Directorate meeting for a partnership project that has taken a lot of time and effort. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Well done all, and looking forward to hearing your wins of the week in future.

Book of the week
Mervyn King. 2016. The End of Alchemy: Money, Banking and the Future of the Global Economy.
ISBN 978-1408706114, Worldcat.
Colin Smith, an information analyst at NHS GGC writes to recommend this book: ‘A very interesting book from 2016. Not medical but given we’ve another potential round of ’austerity’ on the way, still relevant as to how we run the economy and fund the NHS and public services.’
