  • 10:30-11:00 Version control - how do the community actually do version control? Expect to run the gamut from GitHub to v06_final_final_use_this.docx
  • 11:00-11:30 Synthetic data - the how/why/when of making data up

  • 1200-13:00 Lunch

  • 13:00-13:30 Second interview with the vampire - stories from the recruitment front line, including finding out who got a great new job this year
  • 13:30-14:00 Epidemiology 101 - ask a (brave) epidemiologist lots of technical questions
  • 14:00-15:00 Tools: “I use x for y because z” - a quickfire session where people recommend new tools they know and love

  • 15:30-16:00 Folk beliefs about LLMs - not a joke, but also not not a joke. A free-range session discussing what we believe about large language models, and how that rubs up against how LLMs really are
  • 16:00-16:30 What do you want from the network next year?
